About Kristine

Soprano Kristine Overman is thrilled to have a season filled with exciting debuts! In March she will head to the Metropolitan Opera in New York to compete as a SemiFinalist in the prestigious Laffont Competition. In April she will give a chamber recital in Cincinnati OH, performing works by Mahler, Messiaen, Ravel, and Vaughan Williams. In May, she will make her house and role debut with Heartland Opera in Missouri as Gilda in Rigoletto. Finally, she will travel to Washington DC to perform Carlisle Floyd's masterpiece Susannah as the title role with Shakespeare Opera Theater.
